About the role
Stakeholder and environmental management, marketing, communication, public & regulatory affairs – all come together in your role. How does this look in practice? One moment, you have a meeting with a policymaker at the province or represent the organization at a sustainability event. The next moment, you determine the strategy for environmental management and participation in potential or ongoing projects. In doing so, you keep an eye on our direction, coach the environmental managers active in the projects, and serve as the contact person for external parties from whom we hire environmental management.
You're not only building external relationships but also internally. You coordinate and distribute tasks with the stakeholder manager focusing on onshore wind energy, a field closely related to land-based solar energy. You also regularly consult with colleagues from marketing, communication, and public & regulatory affairs. Together, you define the strategy within these disciplines in relation to solar and wind energy. You ensure that the activities resulting from this – from lobbying to communication materials – align with this vision. Successful projects that bring the energy transition closer: that's what you strive for!
