Join us in shaping a fossil free future! We're on the lookout for an Project Manager Engineer Built Environment who's keen to collaborate with our passionate team on a mission to 2030-2050.

As a project manager at a big energy company at the heat department, you'll dive into new construction projects and the upkeep of buildings and premises, all while keeping safety and quality front and center. You'll team up with experts in turbines, boilers, pipelines, pumps, fans, and more, all working together to ensure our facilities are safe and reliable. The Heat department is active in district heating and decentralised energy solutions, and operates condensing and waste-to-energy plants.

About the role
What's on your agenda?
-
Managing projects from new buildings to modifications on existing buildings.
-
Next to buildings, you are involved in projects regarding such as bridges, roads.
-
Negotiating projects and regulations with customers, project developers and government agencies.

Managing maintenance partners and ensuring you both deliver outstanding work.
-
Guiding contractors through building work of new buildings and modifications.
-
Maintaining connections within the company and with customers and consulting firms.
-
Plus, from time to time you bring your know-how to help out with big new renewable energy projects, such as offshore wind, solar, energy storage and green hydrogen.
What we're on the lookout for:

Your coordination skills to manage built environment projects.

Your skill as master organizer with a keen eye for safety and detail.

You are open to work from time to time outside the office, at one of the powerplants and heat assets.

Willingness to work from time to time on sustainable energy projects, such as solar, energy storage, hydrogen and off shore wind.

A problem-solving approach.
