Over the past years, both founders, Hans & Ruben loved to work with young talent. Both have an entrepreneurial spirit, share the mutual vision to be meaningful for the people around them. This is how NRG Partners was founded, with the mission to accelerate the energy transition by enriching companies with ambitious young talent.
A frequently asked question is: why South African talent? There are several reasons. First and foremost, they are incredible individuals—highly motivated, well-educated, and possessing a strong work ethic. An important advantage is their language background; with Afrikaans as a foundation, South Africans can learn Dutch relatively quickly. Additionally, many already have friends, family, or acquaintances in the Netherlands, providing an existing social network for support. And, of course, the NRG Partners team loves visiting South Africa to connect with amazing people! 😀

Originally from the Netherlands, she has made South Africa her home, where she lives and works with a passion for learning and development. Fluent in Dutch, English, and South African languages, Josien bridges cultures through education and language.

Hans started his career as recruiter and was commercial director of Solid Professionals the last 15 years. He invented the young talent program, and successfully trained over 300 graduates via this program within the banking and IT sector. He has extensive experience in recruiting, managing young talent and working with partners.

Ruben started his career at GKN Fokker and joined the young potential program. As young talent, he obtained a solid understanding of different trainings. As COO of a scale up within the solar development & construction, he gained experience in working and recruiting young talent and understanding their needs.
